Where many parents and families mourn, comfort, and partially heal by trying to forget the tragedy of circumstances surrounding the death of a child, Jenny's parents came to the conclusion that something must make sense out of the turmoil of the past years of their and Jenny's struggles. Why couldn't they find a group of like parents whose children had also overdosed on drugs?
The reality: No-one wants to talk about this. There is just too much of a stigma, a cloak of failure, to come forward. Jenny's parents determined to speak out and hopefully prevent a young person from taking Jenny's paths.
They hope to let other families know that they are not alone in the problems they face, that they are certainly not the only parents to have a child snatched from their lives before their time because of the scourge of drugs - in spite of all they as loving parents tried to do to prevent it. We hope to help in any way.
With that in mind we have set up emails where families can share their experiences or ask questions. Email Jenny's Parents on the links below.
